Play in the Shrewsbury Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The Shrewsbury Monday 6-a-side Football League kicked off in a spectacular fashion this week. We were delighted to crown last seasons champions and welcome two new teams! 

In the Premier League, Tonys Tigers made a roaring start by outpacing Ellesmere Rangers in a 10-2 victory. Elsewhere, Jock Itch FC beat league debutants The Regular Guys with an impressive 5-0 win. FC BACK OF THE NETO also managed to scrape past Manj Dog with a slim 1-0 victory, setting the tone for what promises to be an engaging season.

Division 1 was equally electrifying, with KFC setting the bar high with a  6-0 triumph over FC Shrewbacca. KFC's Jay was the standout player in Division 1, bagging 3 goals to top the division's goal scoring charts. In another closely contested fixture, Halfway Wanderers managed to hold Grange R Us to a 2-2 draw, with both teams showing promising form for the season ahead.
