Title: "Epic Showdown in Shrewsbury Monday Football League Week 8"

It was good night of action in our Shrewsbury league on Monday. Both Regular Guys and Map Group FC return to competitive action next week! We were delighted to welcome league debutants Verve FC and Welshpool Wanderers to the league

In the Premier League, Ellesmere Rangers emerged as the dominant team of the night, overpowering Verve FC in an intense 8-5 encounter. The star of the match was undoubtedly Will, who netted an impressive five goals for Ellesmere Rangers, making him the top scorer in the division. Elsewhere in the Premier league, Jock Itch FC clinched a clean 3-0 victory against Goals Aloud. Dale FC also made headlines with an impressive 8-3 win over Hardly Athletic, demonstrating a strong team performance.

Over to Division 1, Shropshire Concrete FC put on a masterclass performance with a 7-0 shutout against Welshpool Wanderers.  Meanwhile, KFC managed to edge out FC Shrewbacca in a thrilling 8-5 showdown. The competition in Division 1 rounded off with Grange R Us securing a narrow 3-2 victory over Halfway Wanderers.
