Play in the Shrewsbury Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

It was a brilliant evening of action in our Shrewsbury Monday league, all teams were in attendance with the exception of The Regular Guys who return to competitive action next week

Within the Premier League Division, Ellesmere Rangers were impressive in  a 4-0 win over The Salop Six. Meanwhile, Dale FC barely held off FC BACK OF THE NETO in a nail-biting 5-4 victory. Goals Aloud delivered a strong performance, netting 6-1 against Hardly Athletic. In what was perhaps the most significant match of the night, Jock Itch FC outperformed Verve FC in a 7-2 victory. The standout player was undoubtedly Harry Astley from Goals Aloud, who topped the division's scoring chart this week with a hat-trick.

The Division 1 games were equally nail-biting. Welshpool Wanderers and Halfway Wanderers played to a stalemate, with both the teams failing to find the back of the net. Despite a gritty performance, Grange R Us tasted defeat at the hands of KFC, losing 4-2. WBS FC secured a confident 3-1 victory against FC Shrewbacca. The standout player in Division 1 was Deniz Nasufov from Grange R Us, who managed to score two goals.
