Title: Thrilling Week 13 of Shrewsbury Monday Football League

Overall it was a good evening of football at Shrewsbury Leisure Leagues on Monday which saw some stunning performances across both the Premier League and Division 1. We thank all teams for their continued support and reliability as always.

In the Premier League, the spotlight was stolen by Hardly Athletic and Ellesmere Rangers, who battled it out in an evenly matched contest that ended in a 2-2 draw. FC Back of the Neto showcased their dominance by defeating Jock Itch FC 2-0 and maintaining their strong form. Verve FC, however, stole the show by beating The Salop Six 6-1 in a riveting encounter. Dale FC also added to their winning streak with a 3-1 triumph over Goals Aloud to put them into title contention!

Verve FC's Callum Richardson emerged as the top scorer in the Premier League. The forward was in scintillating form, banging in 3 goals to help his team secure a convincing victory. His exceptional performance also earned him the title of the week's most valued player.

In Division 1, the matches were equally enthralling. FC Shrewbacca narrowly lost to Welshpool Wanderers 2-1 in a tightly contested fixture. Grange R Us pulled off a 2-1 victory over league debutants  Wetherspoons Wanderers, while Shropshire Concrete FC outplayed Halfway Wanderers 4-2. KFC's move into the promotion places with a 4-0 win over WBS FC.
