Play in the Shrewsbury Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

It was a brilliant evening of action at Shrewsbury Leisure Leagues on Monday which saw all teams in attendance as scheduled. We were delighted to welcome Straw Hats who made their Leisure Leagues debut.

In the Premier League division, WBS FC faced a narrow defeat to FC BACK OF THE NETO with a score of 1 - 3 .Hardly Athletic managed to edge past Ellesmere Rangers with a score of 2 - 1, while Goals Aloud silenced the crowd with a resounding 3 - 0 victory over Jock Itch Fc. Dale Fc continued to build momentum, winning 4 - 0 against Monner OT. The league applauded Dale Fc's Sam, who cemented his position as the week's top scorer in the Premier division, netting a total of 2 goals.

Shifting focus to Division 1, the fixtures also witnessed some heated battles. Wetherspoons Wanderers and Grange R Us shared the spoils with a 2 - 2 draw. Meanwhile, KFC showed an absolute masterclass with a 7 - 1 win over Halfway Wanderers. Elsewhere, FC Shrewbacca managed to secure a 2 - 0 victory against Welshpool Wanderers. Lastly, Verve FC and Straw Hats played out a 1 - 1 draw in a tightly contested match. Jay from team KFC grabbed the spotlight in Division 1, scoring a total of 3 goals and earning the top scorer title for the week.
