Play in the Shrewsbury Monday football league powered by Leisure Leagues

The first week of the new season of the Shrewsbury Thursday 6-a-side Football league was nothing short of spectacular. It was fantastic to welcome so many new teams to the league which closely fought matches through out the evening.

In the Premier League division, the night was filled with high-intensity matches, with Bumfica stealing the show in their game against The Beefy Boys. The Beefy Boys were left to lick their wounds as they suffered a 4-1 defeat against Bumfica, marking a solid start for Bumfica this season.

However, the most exciting match of the evening was Red Barn Utd and Charles Darwin Fc. It was a phenomenal game, as Charles Darwin Fc pulled off a stunning 7-3 victory. The star player of the match was none other than Harvey of Charles Darwin Fc, who emerged as the top scorer in the Premier League division. Harvey's impressive hat-trick undoubtedly provided the key difference in the match and has set him off on a promising start to the season.

Another gripping encounter saw Petr Cech His Hardrive facing Magpies On Tour. In a thrilling contest, Magpies On Tour came out on top with a scoreline of 5-3, showcasing their skills early in the season.

The final match of the evening in the Premier League saw OBL FC pitted against Masala FC. Masala FC clinched a 2-0 victory, demonstrating their defensive prowess and finishing skills.
