In a thrilling week 6 of the Shrewsbury Thursday 6-a-side Football league, the Premier League and Division 1 had their fair share of pulsating action, closely contested matches, and standout performances.

In the Premier League, the game of the night was arguably the hard-fought tie between Buzzards and U5, which ended in a 1-1 stalemate. Another notable clash was between Magpies On Tour and Masala FC, a match that also ended in an even 1-1 draw. But the highlight of the evening was undoubtedly the clinical display by Red Barn Utd, who dispatched OBL FC with a  4-0 victory. Ben Bound of Red Barn Utd had an exceptional night, bagging a hat-trick and securing his position as the top scorer in the Premier League division.

In Division 1, a riveting encounter saw ABP FC go head-to-head with WEMERDALE, with the latter pulling off an impressive 4-2 win. T George W of WEMERDALE showcased his goal-scoring prowess with a commendable total of 3 goals, crowning him as the leading scorer in Division 1. Bumfica return to competitive action next week!

As we move into the next exciting week of this 6-a-side league, fans can surely look forward to more high-octane action from these passionate teams. All eyes will be on the top scorers Ben Bound and George W as they aim to extend their prolific runs.
