The Sittingbourne Sunday 6-a-side Football league lit up pitches across town this week, with teams in the Premier League and Division 1 divisions showcasing their talent.

In the Premier League, the Bengali Bulldogs proved their dominance yet again with a 4-0 thrashing of The Saints. Ryan Bourner was the standout player of the match, netting two goals for the Bulldogs and earning the title of top scorer in the Premier League division for the week. The STFC also displayed their soccer prowess with a clean 3-0 win over Expected Toulouse. Meanwhile, Sheppey Wednesday managed to edge out GoodFellas 2-1 in a tense, closely fought match. Murston Massive also added to their impressive season tally with a clear 2-0 victory over BDPM BALLERS.

Battles were equally fervent in Division 1. Classics FC narrowly beat Bengali B Dogs 2-1, while a single goal was enough for Edawi Village to secure victory over Unathletico FC. Sparshatt Sitti and FarnyFun FC shared the spoils with a 1-1 draw. However, the highlight of the night belonged to Misfits FC, who cruised to a 3-0 victory over Leach On The Beach. Lee Piles was the hero of the match for Misfits, scoring all three goals and emerging as the top scorer in Division 1 for the week.
