Weekly News from Sunday 2nd July

Overall we had a terrific night of football on Sunday evening, as we saw all teams in attendance for their games as expected. However, we were extremely disappointed that there was a disciplinary incident in the game involving Athletic Bilbowls.

After one of their players verbally abused the referee, the player in question has received a £20 fine and one week ban for his actions.

Leisure Leagues employs a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive or abusive behaviour at any of the leagues that we operate, and any team or player seen to be displaying this sort of behaviour will receive fines and bans accordingly.
