Weekly News from Sunday 3rd September

It was an excellent night of football overall on Sunday evening, as we saw new team The Brickies get off to a perfect start with an emphatic 6-0 victory.

However we were extremely disappointed to hear of several incidents in the game involving Class On Fake Grass. These ranged from dissent, bad fouls to verbal abuse towards the referee. As a result of this, the team have received £60 worth of fines, and have been removed from the league with immediate effect.

Leisure Leagues employs a zero tolerance policy towards aggressive or abusive behaviour at any of the leagues that we operate. Any team or player seen to be displaying this sort of behaviour will receive fines and bans accordingly.
