Monday 10th February - Worcester Round-Up

It was an excellent evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across all three divisions.

Starting with the Premier League, Châteauneuf-du-Pape made a bold statement with a stunning 3-1 victory over Salty Sea-Men. Phoenix also set the pitch ablaze with a 4-1 triumph against Severn Strikers. The most evenly contested match was between Pepe Pig and Daddy Ben, which ended in a 1-1 draw, while Pickle Pinchers edged past Class On Artificial Grass with a 2-1 win.

In Division 1, the most noteworthy match saw RR FC obliterate FC Past It with a whopping 8-0 scoreline. Woodgreen FC and Purkinje Fibres also secured wins against Full Kit Yankers and GSE respectively. Fuego Fc clinched a 4-1 victory over The Salt Men, asserting their dominance in the division.

In Division 2, Monday Knights outplayed Is Your Motherwell with a 4-1 victory. Unathletico Madrid, on the other hand, showcased their superiority with a 5 - 2 win over Intern Milan. The most balanced game in this division was between Inter Ya Nan and Monner Athletic, which ended in a 4-4 stalemate.
