Monday 14th April - Worcester Round-Up

PLEASE NOTE - This league will be cancelled on Monday 21st April due to Bank Holiday Monday.  We return as normal on Monday 28th April as per fixtures listed online.

It was another excellent evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all three divisions.

In the Premier League, the Severn Strikers and Woodgreen FC ended the match in a deadlock with a 1-1 draw. The RR FC claimed a thrilling victory over Class On Artificial Grass with a scoreline of 6-4. Meanwhile, Phoenix outclassed Pepe Pig with a solid 3-0 win, marking a decisive victory for the team.

Division 1 was no less a spectacle. Purkinje Fibres faced a narrow defeat against Daddy Ben, falling short by one goal with a 2-1 finish. The Salty Sea-Men made waves, trouncing UTR FC in a crushing 6-0 win. Is Your Motherwell dominated the pitch against SJL 6s with a 5-1 victory, and Full Kit Yankers outplayed GSE in a 3-1 match.

The action in Division 2 was equally intense. Unathletico Madrid left no room for doubt, dominating Alright Drive in an 8-0 victory. We Lose Evra Week turned the tables on The Salt Men, scoring 7 goals to their 1. Monner Athletic secured victory over Ashton FC with a 3-0 win, while FC Past It narrowly edged out Intern Milan with a 4-3 finish.

The top scorers in each division have indeed set the bar high. In the Premier League, RR FC holds the crown with 6 goals, while in Division 1, Salty Sea-Men lead the pack with their 6-goal haul. In Division 2, Unathletico Madrid takes the top scorer title with an impressive 8 goals.
