Monday 15th April - Worcester Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night across the three divisions and some superbly competed matches played to boot.

In the Premier League, Sporting Abeergut suffered a 3-1 defeat at the hands of a resurgent Daddy Ben, who showed great strength and resilience on the field. This was followed by a nail-biting match between What Team Name and Monday Knights, with What Team Name edging out a 3-2 victory. Phoenix came out victorious in a hard-fought 2-1 battle against Brap FC, while Châteauneuf-du-Pape dominated Class On Artificial Grass, walking away with a convincing 4-0 win.

In Division 1, Texas Oldham was decimated 6-1 by a relentless Full Kit Yankers. The next match saw Woodgreen FC falling short, losing 6-3 to Full Kit Yankers. Meanwhile, Salty Sea-Men were shown no mercy by Inter Ya Nan who clinched a 2-1 victory, and CWLC FC triumphed 5-2 against Pepe Pig.

Division 2 was equally exciting. Backstreet Moyes were outpaced by Purkinje Fibres, losing 8-2 while Monner Athletic and GSE battled to a 1-1 draw. Real SoSoBad outperformed Uow Futsal 2 with a 4-2 win, and Unathletico Madrid shut out Chunk And The 7 Dwarves, with a 3-0 victory.
