Monday 17th February - Worcester Round-Up

it was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all three divisions and some well competed matches played.

In the Premier League division, Phoenix narrowly outplayed Daddy Ben with a final score of 3-2, showcasing their superior team synergy. Salty Sea-Men and Pepe Pig gave a nail-biting performance, with Pepe Pig managing to secure a 2-1 victory. Class On Artificial Grass also managed a narrow win over Severn Strikers with a 2-1 score line. However, it was Châteauneuf-du-Pape who stole the show with a 4-1 victory over Pickle Pinchers, setting the highest score in the division.

In Division 1, Woodgreen FC and Purkinje Fibres locked in a 1-1 stalemate, while RR FC emerged victorious over Fuego Fc with a narrow 3-2 win. Full Kit Yankers outclassed FC Past It with a whopping 5-1 score line, demonstrating their dominance in the division.

The Division 2 matches also had their fair share of action.  We Lose Evra Week and Monner Athletic ended in a 2-2 draw, whereas Is Your Motherwell delivered a stunning performance with a 9-3 win over Intern Milan. Unathletico Madrid and 2goals1cup battled it out, with 2goals1cup pulling off a 3-2 win.
