Monday 17th March - Worcester Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their matches as scheduled across the three divisions.

In the Premier League, Châteauneuf-du-Pape took charge dominating Salty Sea-Men with an impressive 5-0 scoreline which propelled them to the top of the table. Class On Artificial Grass and Pickle Pinchers shared the spoils in a thrilling 3-3 draw. Phoenix fired up, defeating Severn Strikers 2-0, while Daddy Ben and Pepe Pig settled for a 1-1 tie.

In Division 1, GSE emerged victorious against Purkinje Fibres with a 2-0 win. The Salt Men spiced things up against Fuego Fc, taking home a 4-2 victory; Full Kit Yankers also claimed triumph, beating Woodgreen FC 4-1. RR FC outperformed FC Past It with a 3-1 victory.

Down in Division 2, Monday Knights fell short against Is Your Motherwell, losing 1-2 in a closely contested match. We Lose Evra Week eked out a 1-0 win over Ashton FC in a thrilling encounter. Intern Milan succumbed to a 1-2 defeat against Unathletico Madrid.

The top scorers of each division were instrumental in their teams' respective successes. In the Premier League, Châteauneuf-du-Pape’s striker stood out with a hat trick in their match. In Division 1, The Salt Men's forward notched up a brace, securing their win, while in Division 2, Unathletico Madrid's striker scored both of their goals, ensuring the victory.
