Monday 17th October - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across all three divisions.

Phoenix claimed their second win in succession to start the season as they were 4-2 winners over Chateuneuf Du-Pape, whilst Nomers first win since promotion two leagues saw them edge past General Sports 2-1 meaning they're unbeaten so far!  Billy Timbers shared the spoils with Greyhound FC in a game that ended 1-1.

In Division One, What Team Name made it two wins in a row as they were 4-3 winners over Sporting A Beergut whilst Salty Sea Men looked impressive in front of goal as they thrashed All on Red by an 8-0 scoreline.  Elsewhere Inter Yanan and Route One Rovers played out a thrilling 7-7 draw to take a point apiece, whilst completing the divisions action, ABCDE FC look a bit Jekyll and Hyde thus far following up a hefty 10-1 defeat last week with an 8-1 thrashing of Unathletico Madrid!

In Division Two, Crouch Potato were the big winners of the evening as they thrashed Malvern Massive by an 8-2 scoreline, whilst the other two games ended honors even with Goals Aloud v Plunger & Superglue finishing 3-3, and Jewventus v Monner Athletic ended 2-2.
