Monday 18th March - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across all three divisions.

In the Premier League, Class On Artificial Grass and What Team Name each scored four goals, with respective victories over Daddy Ben and Sporting Abeergut. The most surprising event of the evening was the goal-less draw between Brap FC and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, adding a captivating twist to the league standings. Phoenix triumphed over Monday Knights with a decisive 5-1 victory, emerging as this week's top scorers in the division.

In Division 1, Full Kit Yankers set the field on fire, scoring a remarkable seven goals against Exeter Gently. Texas Oldham and Pepe Pig had a hard-fought match that ended in a 2-2 draw, while CWLC FC dominated the field with a 4-0 victory against Inter Ya Nan. Salty Sea-Men also impressed with a 6-2 win over Woodgreen FC.

Meanwhile, in Division 2, Purkinje Fibres and Real SoSoBad were the standout teams, each scoring five goals against Chunk And The 7 Dwarves and Backstreet Moyes, respectively. The evenly contested game between Uow Futsal 2 and GSE ended in a 2-2 draw, and Monner Athletic managed to pull off a narrow 2-1 win over Unathletico Madrid.
