Monday 20th January - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance for their matches barring Choppy Fellas who have now been removed from the league with immediate effect.

We welcome new team Leavemyarselona to the league and wish these good luck going into their first fixture on Monday 27th January.

In the Premier League, Pickle Pinchers triumphed over Pepe Pig with a 4-2 victory, showcasing their impressive offensive prowess. Meanwhile, Daddy Ben asserted their dominance with a solid 3-1 win over Brap FC, further cementing their position in the league standings. The biggest shock of the night was a staggering 10-2 victory by Châteauneuf-du-Pape over Class On Artificial Grass. Phoenix also had a field day, trouncing Salty Sea-Men 13-2 in a match that demonstrated their superior ball control and sharpshooting skills.

Division 1 also saw its own share of drama. Woodgreen FC secured a comfortable 4-0 win over The Salt Men, while RR FC asserted their authority with an 8-1 drubbing of Full Kit Yankers.

In Division 2, Monday Knights outplayed Intern Milan in a 10-2 victory, while Is Your Motherwell left no doubt about their superiority with a 12-0 sweep over 2goals1cup. Monner Athletic edged out Unathletico Madrid 6-3 in a closely-fought match, while Inter Ya Nan managed to beat We Lose Evra Week 4-2.
