Monday 22nd November - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league at Sixways Stadium this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night barring a late cancellation from Moyes N The Hood who return to action on Monday 29th November.

In the Premier Division, Baines on Toast now sit top of the pile as they were 3-0 winners against bottom of the table Crouch Potato, whilst Phoenix drop to second position after suffering a 4-2 reverse at the hands of Shamgwop Rovers.  Woodgreen FC climbed out of the bottom two at the expense of this weeks opponents Lower Wick Lemons, who they beat by a convincing 3-0 scoreline.

Route One Rovers dropped to second place in Division One, despite a 3-2 win in their match against We Lose Evra Week, Chateuneuf Du-Pape now sit top on goal difference as they got a 5-0 win.  Third placed Woo Town Wanderers secured a 2-1 victory over bottom of the table Plunger & Superglue, whilst Inter Ya Nan secured a 2-0 win over Six Offenders to remain in fourth spot.

There was a shift at the top of Division Two after this weeks action, as Goals Aloud dropped from top to third place, as their opposition HayleyBeanieBoys smashed them by a 7-3 scoreline.  Balt-J FC also moved into second place with a convincing 5-0 win over Nomers.  General Sports Enthusiasts remain in fifth spot as they secured a 3-0 victory against Werder Beermen.  Well done to Gerryhattricks who secured their first point of the season since joining the league 4 weeks ago, they scored a 1-1 scoreline against Who Ate All Depays.
