Monday 24th January - Worcester Round-Up

It was a fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Sixways Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night and some excellent football played across all three divisions.

New teams Rodallega Bombs and BBF met this week with Rodallega running out convincing 9-0 winners.  Phoenix remain top after their 5-0 win this week, whilst Tics on Toure remain in second place following their 7-4 victory over Shamgwop Rovers, they stay a point off the pace as they look to overcome the leaders.  The two meet this coming week in what promises to be a blockbuster game!

In Division One, Chateuneuf Du Pape move into an outright lead this week as they were 3-1 victors over Inter Ya Nan, whilst second placed Route One Rovers fell off the pace by 2 points after a surprising 5-2 defeat to ABCDE FC.  Woo Town Wanderers moved into third following their 4-0 victory over We Lose Evra Week.

Division Two looks incredibly tight as the top four teams are separated by just a single point.  Who Ate All Depays remain top but only on goal difference now as they suffered a 2-1 defeat to Goals Aloud, who are right in the promotion hunt.  General Sports Enthusiasts sit in second spot and have moved level on points with a 2-1 victory over Balt-J FC ahead of the two meeting next week!
