Monday 24th June - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across all three divisions.

In the Premier League, Brap FC made their mark with a commanding 3-1 win over Daddy Ben, demonstrating their dominance in the league. Phoenix also made an impressive statement, outplaying CWLC FC with a comfortable 4-1 victory. In an enticing match, Pickle Pinchers and Châteauneuf-du-Pape battled to a 2-2 draw. Texas Oldham also edged out a narrow 2-1 win over 2goals1cup. This week's top scorer for the Premier League was Phoenix with four goals.

Over in Division 1, Class On Artificial Grass showed no mercy against Inter Ya Nan, recording a decisive 4-0 win. GSE outscored Monner Athletic in a high-scoring match, pulling off a 9-3 victory. Salty Sea-Men managed a close 3-2 win against Full Kit Yankers, and Sporting Abeergut sealed a 3-2 victory over Woodgreen FC. GSE sits at the top as the highest scorer with nine goals.

In Division 2, Backstreet Moyes triumphed over Gully Boys in a closely contested 2-1 victory. Purkinje Fibres outclassed Chunk And The 7 Dwarves with a massive 6-1 win, and Unathletico Madrid outscored Real SoSoBad with a 5-3 victory. Pepe Pig also managed an impressive 5-0 win over Exeter Gently. The top scorer in this division was Purkinje Fibres with six goals.
