Monday 25th March - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches across all three divisions as scheduled once again.

In the Premier League, Brap FC took a decisive 2-0 victory over Class On Artificial Grass, while Monday Knights held Daddy Ben to a 2-2 draw. However, the standout match of the night was the clash between Sporting Abeergut and Châteauneuf-du-Pape, which saw Châteauneuf-du-Pape secure a staggering 7-0 win. Phoenix also slipped past What Team Name with a narrow 2-1 victory.

Over in Division 1, Woodgreen FC demonstrated their prowess, defeating Exeter Gently 5-1. In a more tightly contested battle, Salty Sea-Men managed to edge out Pepe Pig with a 4-3 win. CWLC FC and Texas Oldham gave spectators a thrilling match, ending with CWLC FC emerging victorious with a 3-2 score. The division's highest-scoring match of the night was between Inter Ya Nan and Full Kit Yankers, where Inter Ya Nan triumphed with a 6-4 win.

In Division 2, Backstreet Moyes and Uow Futsal 2 locked horns, with Backstreet Moyes winning 2-0. GSE and Chunk and the 7 Dwarves ended their match with a 2-2 draw, as did Purkinje Fibres and Unathletico Madrid. Lastly, Real SoSoBad managed a narrow 3-2 victory against Monner Athletic.
