Monday 27th January - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week once again, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night across all three divisions, the only exception being Fuego FC who return to action as normal on Monday 3rd February.

In the Premier League, Châteauneuf-du-Pape dominated Daddy Ben with a 3 - 0 victory, asserting their prowess on the pitch. Brap FC sealed a 4 - 2 win against Pickle Pinchers in an electrifying match. Phoenix soared high with a 4 - 1 triumph over Pepe Pig, while Salty Sea-Men showed their might by sinking Class On Artificial Grass 8 - 2.

Division 1 saw RR FC overpower Woodgreen FC 4 - 1, while Full Kit Yankers narrowly edged past GSE 1 - 0. Purkinje Fibres held their ground with a 4 - 2 victory against The Salt Men.

The action in Division 2 was equally intense. Monner Athletic outplayed 2goals1cup with a 5 - 0 win, while Unathletico Madrid and Monday Knights locked horns and ultimately shared the spoils at 1 - 1. Is Your Motherwell made quite a statement with a commanding 6 - 1 win over Inter Ya Nan, and We Lose Evra Week thrashed Intern Milan 5 - 0.

We welcome new team Severn Strikers into the league from next Monday, wishing them good luck in their debut game as they replace the outgoing Brap FC.
