It was another excellent evening's football this week in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league at Sixways, with all teams in attendance throughout the night across all three divisions, braving the wet conditions to come for their weekly game!
In the Premier Division, the top two dropped their first points of the season with, Phoenix staying top after an entertaining 4-4 draw with Crouch Potato, whilst Tics on Toure also played out a thrilling draw, finishing 5-5 against recently promoted Route One Rovers who've had a steady start this campaign. Shamgwop Rovers were emphatic winners as they brushed aside Woodgreen FC by an 8-3 score line, whilst Gateshead United got their second win in three games in the form of a 3-2 win over Chateuneuf Du Pape!
Greyhound United moved to the top of the Division One table by a single goal on goal difference, they were 5-0 winners over Bendtner Over, whilst Goals Aloud also kept up their 100% start to the season as they were 5-1 winners against Inter Ya Nan, they now sit in second spot. ABCDE FC remain in third position after coming out on top of a ten goal thriller against We Lose Evra Week, 6-4 the final score. Rodallega Bombs recovered from defeat in the first round of fixtures, as they got their second win in a row, they were emphatic 6-1 winners this week against Who Ate All Depays.
Hayley Beanie's Boys got their third straight win of the Division Two campaign this week, running out 5-2 victors over Malvern Massive to remain top of the table, separated from General Sports Enthusiasts only on goal difference as the second placed team also have maximum points after three games, they were 8-1 winners against Gerry Hat Tricks as they close the goal difference gap. Third placed Plunger and Superglue remain on the coattails of the top two, they got their second win in a row this week as they were comfortable 4-0 winners against Balt-J FC, whilst Rybrook Raiders also won by the same score line against Nomers.
