Monday 30th September - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches barring a late cancellation from Fuego FC who return to action on Monday 7th October.

In the Premier League, two teams stole the show with their dominant performances. Brap FC ran rampant over Class On Artificial Grass, registering an 8-1 victory. Simultaneously, Salty Sea-Men demonstrated their scoring prowess with a striking 10-0 win over Texas Oldham. However, the match between Pickle Pinchers and Châteauneuf-du-Pape was a tightly contested one, ending in a 2-1 win for Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

Division 1 also witnessed some high-scoring bouts. Full Kit Yankers stood out with a convincing 5-0 victory over 2goals1cup. Daddy Ben secured a solid 3-0 win against We Lose Evra Week. The matches between Purkinje Fibres and Woodgreen FC, and Pepe Pig against GSE, ended in narrow 2-1 and 3-2 victories, respectively.

Division 2 saw both high-scoring affairs and close games. Exeter Gently took a solid win over Monner Athletic with a score of 4-1. Inter Ya Nan edged out Gully Boys in a high octane 6-5 game. The duel between Is Your Motherwell and Chunk And The 7 Dwarves ended in a tight 2-1 win for Is Your Motherwell, while Choppy Fellas shut out Unathletico Madrid with a 4-0 victory.
