Monday 31st January - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night and some excellent matches played across all three divisions.

After playing out their two week withdrawal notices, 2 Girls 1 Klopp and Woo Town Wanderers have withdrawn from their respective divisions.  We are pleased to welcome new teams Greyhound FC and Bendtner Over to the league as their replacements and wish these good luck going into their first games on Monday 7th February.

Tics on Toure moved to the top of the pile with a game to spare, as they recorded a 5-2 win over Phoenix in the big game of the evening, whilst Shamgwop Rovers still have an outside chance of finishing second following their 6-1 win over Rodallega Bombs.

Division One leaders Chateuneuf Du Pape suffered a surprise 4-0 reverse at the hands of We Lose Evra Week, but got away with it as Route One Rovers were also beaten 5-2.  ABCDE FC won their fourth match in a row as they were 4-0 winners over Plunger and Superglue.

It is all to play for as Who Ate All Depays and General Sports Enthusiasts drew 2-2, and Goals Aloud took advantage as they were 3-1 winners against Rybrook Raiders, so it is all to play for as four teams can still gain promotion!
