Monday 31st July - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their matches, barring two cancellations.  We welcome back Inside England VI to the action next Monday, but have seen Night Shift withdraw from the league, replacing them with new team CWLC FC who we wish good luck going into their opening game on Monday 7th August!

In the Premier League, fan-favorite Châteauneuf-du-Pape emerged victorious with a 3-1 triumph over What Team Name. Not far behind, Clash Of Dudes faced a nail-biting defeat against Sporting Abeergut, ending with a close 3-4 scoreline. Meanwhile, Class On Artificial Grass struggled to find their footing and suffered a 0-4 loss against Pickle Pinchers. Phoenix showcased their dominance on the field, triumphing 4-1 over Athletico Pathetico.

Division 1 witnessed some impressive performances as well. Crouch Potato showcased their attacking prowess with a convincing 5-1 victory over Woodgreen FC. Daddy Ben followed suit, securing a 3-1 win against Texas Oldham. Inter Ya Nan put up a fierce fight, ultimately claiming a narrow 2-1 victory against Salty Sea-Men.

Moving onto Division 2, Unathletico Madrid displayed their mettle, prevailing 3-1 against Chunk And The 7 Dwarves. Scoregasm showcased their offensive prowess, securing a commanding 6-2 win over Full Kit Yankers. In a closely contested match, Indra emerged triumphant with a 2-1 victory against Plunger & Superglue.
