Monday 31st March - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

A good start to the new season in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance barring two.  Severn Strikers return as normal next week whilst we have removed Monday Knights for their failure to attend, creating ONE VACANCY in the league for anyone interested in joining!

In the Premier League, Châteauneuf-du-Pape made a strong statement defying Woodgreen FC 3-1, while Class On Artificial Grass dominated UTR FC with an outstanding 12-1 victory. The close match between RR FC and Phoenix ended with a slim victory for RR FC, winning 4-3.

The Division 1 matches were no less intense. Daddy Ben overcame Salty Sea-Men 4-2, while last season's fan-favorite SJL 6s triumphed over Purkinje Fibres 4-2. The tight clash between Is Your Motherwell and GSE was resolved with a 1-0 win for GSE.

Over in Division 2, football enthusiasts witnessed a series of dynamic matches. We Lose Evra Week surpassed Alright Drive 5-1, while Ashton FC narrowly beat Unathletico Madrid 3-2. The Salt Men emerged victorious against FC Past It with a 4-1 win, and Monner Athletic outplayed Intern Milan, scoring 6 goals to 4.
