Monday 3rd June - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week overall, with all teams in attendance barring a late cancellation from What Team Name, who we look forward to seeing return on Monday 10th June.

In the Premier League division, a thrilling match between Brap FC and Châteauneuf-du-Pape ended in a 1-1 draw, while Texas Oldham secured a crucial 2-0 victory against Daddy Ben. The Pickle Pinchers dominated Phoenix with a commanding 4-1 win, highlighting their offensive prowess.

Over in Division 1, Full Kit Yankers edged out Class on Artificial Grass with a 2-1 victory. GSE displayed a strong attacking performance against Woodgreen FC, finishing the match 4-2. Inter Ya Nan, with a powerful display, conquered Sporting Abeergut with a 5-2 win. In an evenly matched contest, Salty Sea-Men and Monner Athletic ended with a 0-0 draw.

In the Division 2 matches, Chunk and the 7 Dwarves dominated Backstreet Moyes with an impressive 6-0 win. Unathletico Madrid scored an emphatic 5-1 victory over Exeter Gently, while Real SoSoBad outclassed Gully Boys in a 7-1 rout. Purkinje Fibres and Pepe Pig played out a 2-2 draw, reflecting the stiff competition in the division.
