Monday 3rd March - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across all three divisions.

In the Premier League division, Phoenix rose to the occasion with a 3-1 win against Châteauneuf-du-Pape. The competition was set alight by Class On Artificial Grass, who overcame Daddy Ben 4-2. Pickle Pinchers succumbed to Salty Sea-Men in a thrilling 4-3 match. The most spectacular victory was secured by Pepe Pig, who trounced Severn Strikers with an overwhelming 8-0 scoreline.

Moving onto Division 1, Full Kit Yankers came out victorious against The Salt Men with a 3-1 score. Purkinje Fibres and Fuego FC battled it out on the pitch, with both teams bagging two goals apiece. RR FC edged past GSE with a 1-0 win. The highlight of the division was the dominant 6-0 victory of Woodgreen FC over FC Past It.

Switching gears to Division 2, where Unathletico Madrid clinched a 4-3 win against Is Your Motherwell. Monner Athletic steamrolled over Intern Milan with an 8-0 victory. Monday Knights and We Lose Evra Week concluded their match in a 3-3 draw.

Unfortunately following their conduct in their fixture this week, we have chosen to remove Inter Ya Nan from the league with immediate effect, this follows their abusive and threatening behaviour towards the referee, this is despite previous warnings about player conduct.  We will not tolerate this sort of behaviour within our leagues.
