Monday 6th January - Worcester Round-Up

It was a great return to action for 2025 as the Worcester Monday 6 a side league got back underway this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches across the three divisions as the league picked up where it left off.

In the Premier League division, Pepe Pig led the pack, defeating the Salty Sea-Men 6-3 in a thrilling encounter. The drama continued with Class On Artificial Grass playing out a 1-1 draw against Brap FC. The electrifying Phoenix v. Daddy Ben match ended in a 3-3 nail-biting draw, while Châteauneuf-du-Pape closed out the week with a 3-0 victory over Pickle Pinchers.

Division 1 was no less intense. Choppy Fellas valiantly succumbed to Full Kit Yankers in a 0-2 showdown. RR FC managed to eke out a 1-0 victory over Fuego FC in a tightly contested match. Purkinje Fibres and Woodgreen FC had a seven-goal thriller, with Woodgreen FC emerging victorious with 4 goals to 3. The Salt Men triumphed over GSE, claiming a 3-2 victory.

Meanwhile, Division 2 saw its own share of action. Is Your Motherwell defeated Intern Milan 4-2, while Monner Athletic were defeated 0-3 by We Lose Evra Week. Unathletico Madrid steamrolled 2goals1cup 4-0, and Monday Knights produced a commanding performance against Inter Ya Nan, ending the game 7-3.
