Monday 6th November - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams across the three divisions in attendance for their matches and some superb football on display once again!

In the Premier League, the clash of the week was between Phoenix and Athletico Pathetico, which ended in a 2-2 draw. Daddy Ben had a field day against Pepe Pig, decimating them with a 12-0 win, the biggest of the day across all divisions. Class On Artificial Grass edged past Texas Oldham 2-1 in a nail-biting showdown. The last match ended in a thrilling 5-5 draw between Clash Of Dudes and What Team Name.

Division 1 saw Uow Futsal 2 lose 4-0 to Châteauneuf-du-Pape, while Salty Sea-Men scored a resounding 8-2 victory over Inter Ya Nan. GSE battled hard but eventually lost 3-2 to Sporting Abeergut. The division's last match ended in a 2-2 stalemate between Full Kit Yankers and Woodgreen FC.

In Division 2, Indra triumphed over Backstreet Moyes 2-0. CWLC FC secured a 4-1 win against Monner Athletic. Crouch Potato had a close call with Cats On Bikes, managing to secure a 4-3 win. Unathletico Madrid walked away with a 2-0 victory over Chunk And The 7 Dwarves.

The top scorers of the week were Daddy Ben from the Premier League, Salty Sea-Men from Division 1, and CWLC FC from Division 2. Their performance this week has set an exciting stage for the matches to come as we approach the business end of the season.
