Monday 7th August - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Monday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled across all three divisions, and some entertaining encounters played once again!

In the Premier League, Athletico Pathetico faced off against Châteauneuf-du-Pape in a closely contested match. Despite a valiant effort from Châteauneuf-du-Pape, Athletico Pathetico emerged victorious with a narrow 2-1 win, their first since joining the league three weeks ago, as they continue to improve.

Meanwhile, in Division 1, Crouch Potato produced a scintillating display of attacking prowess, overpowering Monner Athletic with an impressive 8-3 scoreline. Daddy Ben also showcased their dominance, defeating Salty Sea-Men with a commanding 5-1 victory.

Moving on to Division 2, Madeline Milan narrowly edged out Chunk And The 7 Dwarves with a 2-1 triumph, while CWLC FC displayed their prowess by securing a convincing 7-0 win against Indra on their league debut.

The Worcester Monday 6-a-side Football League continues to provide an avenue for local talent to showcase their skills and entertain enthusiasts with their thrilling matches. As the season progresses, teams from all divisions are vying for glory and aiming to secure their place at the top of the league tables.
