FIXTURES CANCELLED 7TH FEBRUARY!

It is with regret that we must inform all teams that the Worcester Tuesday league is cancelled on 7th February. The reason for this cancellation is due to the decision of the groundsman at Sixways Stadium as there are freezing temperatures forecast from early hours of Wednesday morning onwards. This means that the pitch must undergo a 4 day preparation plan in order to ensure that the Worcester Warriors home fixture goes ahead on Saturday.

They plan to salt and cover the pitch on Tuesday afternoon and will not uncover the pitch until Saturday morning, so, although the pitch will most likely be playable on Tuesday evening, there is no way that they can accommodate any bookings this week.

We are sorry for any inconvenience caused by this cancellation, it is an unusual set of circumstances but with the league being run at a stadium pitch, this will unfortunately be the downside on very rare occasions.

All cancelled fixtures will be replayed at the end of the season, teams are asked to follow their fixtures in date order from Tuesday 14th February onwards...
