It was another good evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled and some entertaining matches played across both divisions as ever.
NCO FC are the new leaders of the Premier Division after this week as they stormed to a 5-2 win over All Star Rejects to leapfrog them in the table as the top two met. Third placed Purge FC are now only two points off the leaders following their 4-3 win over Crouch Potatoes. Boi FC were back on form this week and ran out 3-1 winners against Bell FC to move into fourth position.
It was goals galore in the other two games in the Premier Division too, as Nutty Marauders saw off Dynamo Kebab eventually, as they secured a 5-4 victory in a nine goal thriller, whilst Scranny Bao and Centurions saw 10 goals scored between the two, Scranny taking the points in a 6-4 victory.
Division One leaders Murder on Zidane's Floor were in seventh heaven this week, as they extended their 100% record into a seventh week, beating Zouma's Kit Kats by 4 goals to 1. Second placed Worcester Saints were 3-1 victors over new boys ASBO FC whilst Woo Town Wanderers moved into third position after sharing the spoils in a 2-2 draw with RB Old Boys.
Green Army remain in fifth spot after they thrashed Haywood Jablowme 6-2 in a superb performance which included a goal scored by Green Army from the edge of their own penalty area! Elsewhere Warndon Heath picked up their first points of the season this week as they ran out 4-2 over Battenhall Wanderers in another entertaining game.
Thanks to all teams for their continued commitment and reliability towards the league, we look forward to seeing all in attendance for the next round of fixtures with Worcester's premier providers of small sided football!
