Tuesday 11th April - Worcester Round-Up

Welcome to the round-up of the Worcester 6 a side league at Sixways Stadium on Tuesday 11th April! Despite two late cancellations, all other 22 teams turned up across three divisions, and we're glad to hear that Dynamo Kebab and HIV Eindhoven will be back in action next week.

In the Premier Division, league leaders Allstar Rejects continued their dominant form, thrashing Crouch Potatoes 5-0. They remain at the top of the table, with Nutty Marauders hot on their heels after a hard-fought 2-1 victory over RB Old Boys. Green Army put up a good fight, but ultimately fell 3-2 to RB Old Boys in a close encounter.

In Division One, Gruppo Select took control of the top spot after a 3-1 win over Purge FC. Snorting Lisbon made a statement with a convincing 5-0 victory over Joel Touchmatip, moving them up to third place. Expected Toulouse secured a 5-2 win over Warndon Heath, while BOI FC moved up to fifth place with a 4-1 win over Only Fools and Scousers.

In Division Two, Inter Yanan emerged victorious in a high-scoring affair, beating Goals Aloud 5-3. Tupsley FCC also had a strong showing, defeating Chicken Tikka Mo Salah 5-2. The top three teams in the division are now separated by just two points, with Centurions moving up to fifth place after a 3-2 win over Busty Badgers.
