It was another good evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches across both divisions throughout the night once again, and some excellent football played.
NCO FC moved to the top of the Premier Division table, claiming their third win on the spin this week as they comfortably beat Bell FC 4-1, they are joined on maximum points by Nutty Marauders who sit in second spot after a 2-1 win over Scranny Bao. Allstar Rejects sit in third place despite being held to a draw for the second week running, they shared the spoils in a stalemate with Purge FC this week. Boi FC picked up their first win of the season and ended Dynamo Kebabs perfect start in the process as they were 4-1 winners over Dynamo who drop to fourth. Centurions also got their season up and running this week as they ran out 4-0 victors against bottom placed Crouch Potatoes.
In Division One, Worcester Saints continued their impressive start to the season, beating Battenhall Wanderers by 8 goals to 1, whilst Murder on Zidane's Floor also collected their third straight win, thrashing Pique Blinders 6-0, a result which moves them into second place and above Woo Town Wanderers who slipped to a 4-3 defeat against fourth placed Zouma's Kit Kats. There is very little to separate RB Old Boys and Haywood Jablowme in the table, and the same on the pitch as the two mid-table sides split the points in a 3-3 draw, whilst Green Army got their first win of the season in style in a 9-1 win over Warndon Heath.
We thank all teams for their continued reliability and commitment and look forward to seeing all in attendance on Tuesday 19th April for game week 4 of the season with Worcester's premier providers of small sided football.
