Tuesday 12th February - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good start to the new season in the Worcester Tuesday 7 a side league which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled including new team Poor Toe FC who played their first game in Division One, narrowly losing 1-0 to Sex Drugs & Carlton Cole.

Game of the night in the Premier Division was undoubtedly the one first up between Woodgreen and BBC FC who played out a thrilling end to end encounter in which Woodgreen came out on top 5-4 at full time, meanwhile on the next pitch last seasons champions, FC Timisoara were held to a 0-0 draw by Gangs of Dwight Yorke in a polar opposite game to the one on pitch 1!

Purge FC top Division One after a fine 8-0 victory over Rybrook Beagles whilst Droitwich Old Boys were 2-0 winners against Bell FC and Rybrook Seagulls edged out newly promoted Nutty Marauders 2-1.

Sparks FC were 8-1 victors over recently relegated Metre High in Division Two in a very impressive performance, whilst Startin S7 looked impressive in their first game since relegation, as they won 3-0 against Boi FC as they look to gain promotion this season.  Murder on Zidane's Floor claimed a 1-0 victory over Enville United in a tightly contested affair.
