Tuesday 13th April - Worcester Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 7 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance across all three divisions as scheduled and some entertaining matches played throughout the night.

Startin S7's incredible run of form continues in the Premier Division as they made it 11 wins in a row and need just another point to win the league, although it would take an awful lot to stop them now.

Division One is a lot tighter at the top as just one point separates three teams!  Things tightened up more as Real Porkrib and Centurions played out an entertaining 2-2 draw, whilst Inter Menan suffered a shock 4-1 defeat to Slide Matip In which sees them drop to second.  It promises to be a tight end to the campaign over the next three weeks.

It is the same story for Division Two as three teams battle it out for the two promotion slots.  Boi FC remain top on goal difference but are now level on points with Purge FC who won an entertaining affair between the two 3-2.  This paved the way for RB Old Boys to edge a point closer after their stalemate with third from bottom Baeman FC.
