Tuesday 14th May - Worcester Round-Up

It was another night of high-octane football as Week 5 of the Worcester Tuesday Football league got underway. The evening was packed with edge-of-your-seat action across the Premier League, Division 1, and Division 2 categories.

In the Premier League division, Purge F.C and Al-Mahartley shared the spoils in a thrilling 3-3 draw, while Ringers Not Fingers showed their dominance with a 4-0 win over Murderonzidanesfloor. The Agendas stole the limelight with a narrow 1-0 victory over Borussia Teeth, and Boi F.C. kept a clean sheet in their 2-0 triumph over BDS FC.

Division 1 saw Net Six and Chill suffer a heavy 6-0 defeat at the hands of Ooo Aahh Slavia. Phez FC managed to secure a 4-1 victory over MWL FC, and LeaveMyArselona edged out Shed FC 2-1 in a close encounter. In one of the most thrilling matches of the day, Dynamo Kebab squeaked past Joel Touchmatip with a 3-2 win.

Division 2 was not short of drama and goals either. Only Fools And Scousers barely managed a 3-2 win against Busty Badgers, while RB Old Boys outclassed LispHead Utd 6-3. Knots County FC had a night to forget, losing 11-1 to Warndon Heath. Centurions FC rounded off the evening with a solid 4-1 victory over Is Your Motherwell.

As we move into Week 6, the teams will be looking to build on their performances and climb up the table. The Worcester Tuesday League has certainly lived up to its billing, delivering enthralling football week after week.
