Tuesday 16th April - Worcester SIxways Round-Up

It was a good evening of 7 a side football in Worcester on Tuesday which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night across all three divisions at Sixways.

FC Timisoara dropped points for only the second time this campaign as they were held to a 0-0 draw by a plucky Crouching Woman Hidden Cucumber, who will be gutted as they still drop into the relegation places despite this fantastic result!  Second place Maradona Kebab couldn't bridge the gap though, they suffered a 3-2 reverse at the hands of BBC FC who climbed out of the bottom two, whilst Woodgreen who sit third were held to a 2-2 draw by Hakuna Juan Mata.  Wallop United's difficult campaign continued, they remain rooted to the bottom after a 4-0 defeat by Gangs of Dwight Yorke who sit mid-table.

Top of Division One Droitwich Old Boys were held to a goalless draw by Droitwich Galacticos this week, another impressive result for the newest team in the league.  Bell FC Reserves now sit level on points wiith top after they won 3-0 against Rybrook Seagulls who drop to third.  Nutty Marauders sit fifth in the table but drew level on points with Purge who they beat 2-1 this week.  Finally Poor Toe FC won the battle of the bottom two as they thrashed Rybrook Beagles 4-0.

In Division Two, Murder on Zidane's Floor continue their march towards the title as they won 2-0 against bottom of the table Metre High, whilst Boi FC moved up to second place with a 3-1 win over Enville United, 1860 Worcester dropped from second to fourth place after a single goal defeat by Sparks FC who now sit in third.  Centurions moved to within a point of Startin S7 who they beat 3-1.
