Tuesday 16th November - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was an excellent evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week, which saw all teams in attendance for the new season, and some entertaining football on display, as the league now comprises of two divisions of 10 teams, offering more variety of opposition for all teams!

All Star Rejects started this season as they finished the last, by winning, this week an impressive 4-0 scoreline over Put It In Dias.  Crouch Potatoes were 3-0 winners over Murder on Zidane's Floor whilst Boi FC and Gangs of Dwight Yorke won their matches 3-1 and 3-2 respectively.  Nothing could separate Centurions and Nutty Marauders in the season opener, as the game ended goalless.

New team Koke Kane joined us in Division One this week, they were involved in an entertaining affair, as they and Scranny Bao shared the spoils in an entertaining 3-3 draw.  RB Old Boys picked up a 3-1 win over Puyol Pants Down to get their season off to a good start, whilst NCO FC were 2-0 winners against Six Offenders.  Finally, Warndon Heath got their season off to winning ways, albeit in a tight game which they edged past Battenhall by just one goal.
