Tuesday 17th January - Worcester Round-Up

It was another fantastic evening's action in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance across all three divisions throughout the night and some big results in the standings.

Premier Division All Star Rejects were knocked off top spot for the first time in a while this week after they were humbled 6-3 by Dynamo Kebab who put themselves right in the title race, they now sit just a point off new leaders Murder on Zidane's Floor who's 2-0 victory over Purge puts them at the summit, with a single point separating the top three sides!  Nutty Marauders are on the periphery of the title race in fourth place, their 3-0 win over Joel Touchmatip sees them three points off the pace, whilst Green Army moved further clear of the drop zone with a 9-1 hammering of Crouch Potatoes.

Division One leaders RB Old Boys made it 8 wins from 8 this week but were made to work for the points as they played a dogged Scranny Bao side, eventually claiming a 2-1 win, keeping them two points ahead of second placed Sheffield Tuesday, who themselves got a big win, beating an impressive looking Prawn Hub 5-1.  Boi FC remain in third place after they secured a 3-2 win over Centurions in a well competed game, whilst Tupsley and Asbo shared a point apiece in a game that ended 2 apiece.

Warndon Heath keep their place at the top of Division Two with a convincing 5-0 win against Notinyourmoms Forest, keeping the gap at two points from second place as Snorting were 2-1 victors over Busty Badgers.  6White1Brown moved up to third following a 12-0 demolition of new boys HIV Eindhoven.  Completing the action was Inter Ya Nan and Chicken TIkka Mo Salah who shared a point in an 8 goal thriller which ended 4-4.
