It was another good evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their matches throughout the night, barring Bell FC who had given us 7 days notice that they couldn't play due to the Worcester Warriors game, they return as normal on Tuesday 24th May.
NCO FC dropped off the top of the Premier Division table this week after they suffered a 4-1 defeat to Dynamo Kebab, allowing All Star Rejects back on top on goal difference. Purge FC in third place also took advantage of this with a 1-0 win against Centurions FC, meaning three teams are now tied on 12 points at the top!
Boi FC remain just off the pace in fourth, as they sit two points off the trio at the top, they were 4-3 winners over Scranny Bao in an entertaining game. Nothing could separate Nutty Marauders and Crouch Potatoes in their matchup, Crouch climbing off the bottom of the table after the game ended 1-1.
Division One leaders Murder on Zidane's Floor continue their title march and are looking to seal it as early as possible at this rate, they were impressive 4-2 winners over second placed Worcester Saints who they now sit four points clear of. Wins for Woo Town Wanderers and Zouma's Kit Kats brought the third and fourth placed teams within a point of second, Woo Town were 3-1 winners against Asbo FC, and Zoumas took the points in a 4-2 win over Haywood Jablowme.
Fifth placed Green Army are still in the promotion mix at the halfway point of the season, a 9-3 win over Battenhall Wanderers their latest result, whilst one of the games of the night was the 4-4 draw between Warndon Heath and RB Old Boys in a thrilling game which neither side could be separated!
Good luck to all teams going into the next round of fixtures with Worcester's premier providers of small sided football!
