Tuesday 18th January - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another good evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week with all teams in attendance for their matches, including Gruppo Select who played their first game since re-joining, winning 2-1 over RB Old Boys.

We are delighted to confirm another new team join the league this week, we wish Norfolk N Chance the best of luck going into their first fixture on Tuesday 25th January, which fills the final vacancy in the league!

In the Premier Division, All Star Rejects 100% record extends into a ninth successive week as they were 3-0 winners over Murder on Zidane's Floor in the top v bottom clash.  Crouch Potatoes move into second place as they were comfortable 4-1 winners against Put It In Dias, whilst Gangs of Dwight Yorke moved into third place with a 3-1 victory against Nutty Marauders.  Boi FC drop from second to fourth place after Centurions disciplined performance yielded a 2-0 win for them in a surprise result.  Dynamo Kebab and Purge FC could not be separated as they played out a 1-1 draw.

In Division One, NCO FC lost their 100% record this week at the hands of new boys Bell FC, who ran out 3-2 winners in their second consecutive win since joining.  Fourth placed Scranny Bao edged past Puyol Pants Down by a single goal, whilst Green Army and Battenhall ended all square in a 1-1 draw.
