It was a good evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance barring Out on Bail and a late cancellation from Cesc Pistols, both of which are due to return to action on Tuesday 25th October.
We are delighted to confirm that a new team will be joining us on 25th October! We wish Cory FC good luck going into their first fixture as they face Warndon Heath in Division Two!
Allstar Rejects continue their perfect season as they claimed their 11th win on the bounce, running out 9-1 winners over AFC Airtek to close in on the title at pace. Second placed Gruppo Select are doing all they can to keep up with the leaders and a 2-1 win over Purge keeps them four points off the top although games look to be running out. Murder on Zidane's Floor look to secure third place as anything higher looks a big ask, but an 11-0 win over Wizards of Woo does that aim no harm, whilst Dynamo Kebab stay in fourth place after a 3-1 win over Boi FC.
In the two league games in Division One, Centurions got a second win on the bounce as they look for survival, they won a seven goal thriller against Crouch Potatoes 4-3. RB Old Boys remain in fifth place as they also look to stay in the division, a 7-1 win over Busty Badgers did this ambition no harm at all!
The net closes in on leaders Sheffield Tuesday in Division Two as they were beaten 4-2 by third placed Asbo FC who now move within a point of them, whilst Warndon Heath's 3-2 victory over Inter Yanan puts them level with the leaders as the promotion race goes to the wire! New boys Tupsley FCC were in no mood to mess around as they slotted into their new league with no problems at all after a 10-1 demolition job against Not In Your Moms Forest!
We wish all teams good luck heading into game week 12 with Worcester's premier providers of small sided football!
