Tuesday 19th July - Worcester Round-Up

It was a good evening's football overall in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, the only exceptions being NCO FC and Woo Town Wanderers, who will be spoken to accordingly to confirm their returns on Tuesday 26th July.

All Star Rejects pretty much sealed the title this week due to their superior goal difference, as they held their nerve and got an impressive 5-1 win over NotTooXavi, a result which was much needed as second placed Purge were 2-0 winners in their game against Centurions FC.

Division One leaders Murder on Zidane's Floor are going to need a win to confirm the Division One title next week, as they were beaten 3-2 by second placed Gruppo Select this week, meaning they are now only two points off the top going into the last game.  

New boys Busty Badgers look more than good enough for a place in a higher division when the next season comes round, they romped to an 11-2 win over Not In Your Moms Forest, the second double figures result they've got since joining.  Sheffield Tuesday also look a useful addition, they won a nine goal thriller by 5 goals to 4 against Unreal Madrid.

We thank all teams for their reliability and commitment towards the league during the hot weather conditions we have recently experienced which has helped keep the leagues running smoothly each week.

AS IT IS NOW PEAK HOLIDAY SEASON WE REMIND ALL TEAMS THAT IF YOU PROVIDE US WITH 7 DAYS NOTICE OR MORE TO CANCEL A FIXTURE THEN YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED.  WE WANT TO WORK WITH ALL TEAMS ON THIS AND ACCEPT THAT YOU WILL NOT BE ABLE TO MAKE EVERY GAME.  PROVIDING WE HAVE THIS NOTICE FROM YOU IT MAKES IT A LOT EASIER FOR US TO ARRANGE SOMETHING IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR OPPONENTS.
