It was another fantastic evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week which saw all teams in attendance throughout the night as scheduled, including new team 'Six Offenders' in Division Two, who were beaten 3-1 in their opening game against Scranny Bao.
Gangs of Dwight Yorke jumped to the top of the Premier Division this week, this follows their 2-0 win over Centurions and Put It In Dias' 4-0 humbling against Nutty Marauders. Dynamo Kebab put in a stellar performance as the bottom side beat second place Boi FC by a convincing 5-2 scoreline, as they look to mount a late survival challenge.
All Star Rejects continue their assault on the Division One title as they made it 6 wins from 7, the latest result an 11-3 thrashing of Murder on Zidane's Floor, one more win should see them promoted. Crouch Potatoes lost ground on the leaders as they were beaten 3-2 by Purge FC, and RB Old Boys move into third place with a 3-1 victory over bottom of the table Puyol Pants Down.
NCO FC look all but promoted from Division Two now, as they need just a single point to confirm the fact. They were 3-2 winners over Battenhall Wanderers who were second before kick off, but drop out of the promotion places with this result, coupled with the 1-0 win that Warndon Heath picked up against a much improved Stinky Kebab Shop Boys.
We thank all teams for their continued commitment and reliability towards the league and wish everyone good luck going into game week 8 with Worcester's premier provider of small sided football.
