Tuesday 19th September - Worcester Sixways Round-Up

It was another excellent evening's football in the Worcester Sixways Tuesday 6 a side league, as the new season got underway this week.

We welcomed new team MurderonZidane's Floor to the league this week, they made their league debut in Division Two.

In addition to the above we welcome another two new teams to the bottom division this coming week!  Good luck to Al-Mahartley and Athletic Bilbowl going into their debut games making a very different looking Division Two this season!

The Premier League saw some impressive performances that set the tone for the rest of the season. Purge F.C. dominated All Star Rejects with a 2 - 0 victory, while BDS FC clinched a thrilling win against Nutty Marauders with a final score of 4 - 2. Meanwhile, Boi F.C. narrowly ousted Gruppo Select with a 2 - 1 win, and Brap FC triumphed over Dynamo Kebab 5 - 3. The intensity of these matches indicates a promising season for the Premier League.

In Division 1, the standout team was SNORTING LISBON, who delivered an impressive 8 - 2 victory against Busty Badgers. Meanwhile, Shed FC and Crouch Potatoes ended in a draw, and Joel Touchmatip secured a hard-fought win against Exeter Slowly. Rounding up Division 1, Inter Ya Nan clinched a 4 - 1 win over Green Army.

Division 2 was not without its share of excitement. RB Old Boys narrowly won against Centurions FC in a tight 3 - 2 match, while Haywood Jablowme secured a victory over Warndon Heath. However, the highlight of this division was Only Fools And Scousers' resounding 5 - 0 win against LeaveMyArselona.
