It was another excellent evening's football in the Worcester Tuesday 6 a side league this week, with all teams in attendance for their scheduled fixtures at Sixways Stadium!
Allstar Rejects had to bounce back from last weeks defeat to keep their lead at the top of the Premier Division healthy, and they did just that this week as they overcame Purge FC by a 4-2 score line, keeping them five points clear. Second place is now occupied by Nutty Marauders who's goal difference was boosted by a 4-0 victory over Put It In Dias, whilst Crouch drop to third despite their 3-1 win against Dynamo Kebab. Gangs of Dwight Yorke remain in third place and were 3-2 winners over Centurions this week, somewhat of a goal fest for a game involving Centurions as no more than four goals had been in a game involving them this season, before this week. Boi FC rounded off the action and moved into fifth position after they ran out convincing 4-1 winners over second bottom Murder on Zidane's Floor.
NCO FC keep their place at the summit of Division One after they worked hard to secure a 1-0 victory over RB Old Boys who suffered a second straight defeat. Bell FC ran out 3-2 winners against Green Army to recover from their defeat last week, whilst Scranny Bao do all they can to keep in touch with the promotion places, they remain in third following their 4-1 thrashing of Battenhall Wanderers. Norfolk N Chance look another good addition to the league, they won their second straight game since joining, and did so in style by thrashing Puyol Pants Down 8-1.
We are pleased to welcome new team Pique Blinders to the league on Tuesday 8th February, they replace Gruppo Select in the league who's stay was brief. We wish these good luck in their first fixture this week!
Good luck to all teams going into game week 12 with Worcester's premier providers of small sided football!
